Hit Run
what would happen if you dont report a hit and run even though its not your fault and the person you hit ran?
the is no crossing area and there is no stop sign so that the bus besides you to stop in the middle of the street and your on the lane beside it next to the curb and your not even going 20 and your not even by the bus door when suddenly a stupid kid runs crossing the street without looking both ways and of course the bus sees the kid running in front of the it so it stops and does hit the kid but you dont because its blocking your view from that side and no the kid did not get off the bus nor had its stop sign and no light flickering so the kid was never on the bus okay and well you end up hitting the kid and your freaking out and the kid starts to tell you am sorry am sorry and runs away and by the time you realize the kid is gone and you cant find the kid nowhere and there are people there witnessing this and then you dont report it but someone else does and you get a letter from the hit and run investigator what is going to happen because you didnt report it in the state of Tx?
they can get you for leaving the scene of an accident or failure to report an accident. Your only hope is that the child does not show up and do not plead guilty to anything. Remember they have to prove a wrong and without a victim its hard to prove a wrong. Just do not plead guilty to anything even if the child does show up.
